Frequently asked questions
Answers to what we hear most about quizzes, certificates, and bringing your organisation onboard.
Getting Started
A multi-organisation quiz platform. Any organisation can bring their own quiz portal onboard — their own admin login, their own quizzes, their own certificates — while quiz-takers need no account at all to take a quiz.
No. Browse Quizzes, pick one, and start — you'll just be asked for your name so we can save your result and certificate. No password, no account.
If the platform superuser has turned on auto-logout for inactivity, you'll see a warning with a countdown before being signed out after a period with no activity — click "I'm still here" (or do anything on the page) to stay logged in. This protects accounts left signed in on shared or unattended computers.
Yes — use "Clear all" at the top of your notification list to dismiss everything at once, or dismiss one at a time with its own close button. Dismissing a notification only affects what you see; it doesn't undo or resolve whatever the notification was about.
Managing quizzes, questions, and settings involves tables and forms that are considerably easier with more screen space. If you log in as an admin or superuser on a phone, you may see a brief reminder at login and a dismissible banner on admin/superuser pages suggesting a laptop or desktop. You can still do everything on your phone — it's just easier with more room.
Quizzes & Certificates
Complete a quiz and score at or above its pass mark. A downloadable, verifiable certificate is issued automatically — no extra request needed, unless the organisation has paused certificate issuance, in which case a paid certificate request is offered instead.
Yes. Once you've passed enough quizzes from the same organisation, use "Consolidate" under the Certificates menu to combine them into a single Consolidated Certificate of Knowledge.
On a quiz's start page, Recommend Quiz opens WhatsApp with the quiz link ready to share, and Copy Link copies the direct link so you can paste it anywhere.
Anyone can check a certificate's authenticity with no login needed — use Verify Certificate (or Verify Consolidated Certificate for a consolidated one) with the code printed on it.
It depends on the quiz — check its "ℹ️ More Info" popup on the quiz card before you pay, which always shows the current answer for that quiz. The platform superuser sets this duration (platform-wide by default, though a specific organisation or quiz may have its own), after which a new attempt needs paying again; some quizzes never expire paid access at all. Either way, this only affects starting a *new* attempt from an old payment — it never interrupts an attempt already in progress, and any result, certificate, or leaderboard placing you've already earned stays valid regardless.
Yes. Verify your certificate's code on the Verify Certificate page, then use the "Request a reissue" option that appears once it's confirmed valid.
For Organisations
On the Payment step of the application, choose either Mobile Money or Bank Deposit. Mobile money details are shown right there; for a bank deposit, request our account details (via WhatsApp or email) and then attach a photo or PDF of your deposit slip as proof of payment before submitting. Either way, keep your payment reference — you'll need it for Step 4.
For everyone's security, a real person reviews every application — organisation details, admin login, and payment — before it's approved. This helps keep the platform and its payments safe, and is why approval isn't instant. You can track progress any time from Check Status under Create Quiz.
Open "Create Quiz" in the top navigation and follow the 4-step application: (1) select a package, (2) enter your organisation's details, (3) make your payment, and (4) submit. Every application is manually double-checked for security before approval.
Yes — open Certificate branding on your Profile page to set your own institution name, signature, and logo. Leave any field blank to keep using the platform's own branding.
Open Check Status under Create Quiz in the top navigation, then look it up with the reference code you were given at submission time (or the admin email you applied with).
For security, decision messages (for a discount code request, certificate reissue, or similar) never state the outcome or reason directly in the message — they link you to a status page instead, where the full outcome and reason are shown using your reference code.
Yes — open Participants under Quizzes in your admin portal to see everyone who completed one of your quizzes, plus whatever email or phone number they chose to give. Handy for contacting a prize winner or following up on a batch.
Yes — open Support in your admin portal to send a message. It's answered by the whole superuser team and kept in one place, so nothing gets lost in a one-off chat.
By default, every new quiz uses your organisation's (or the platform's) default price — often free. If you need to charge a different amount per quiz, ask the platform superuser to unlock custom pricing for your organisation.
Only if the platform superuser has turned this on. Where it's on, you'll see an image upload option on the quiz's Settings page. Where it's off, every quiz automatically shows your organisation's own logo image instead — ask your superuser if you'd like it enabled.
Discount code creation can be turned on or off platform-wide by the superuser. If it's off, you'll see a locked notice on the Discount Codes page instead of the application form — reach out to your platform superuser if you need one issued.
In-app support messaging is a platform-wide setting the superuser can turn on or off. While it's off, the Support page shows an email address to contact instead of a message form.
Yes. Every report and list in your admin portal — Participants, Certificates, Payments, Leaderboard, Quiz Performance, and more — has a live search box that filters the table as you type, plus filters for things like quiz, date range, or pass/fail where relevant. Every report can be downloaded as a CSV; financial reports (Payments, Quiz Payments) can also be downloaded as a formatted PDF. Look for the "Download CSV" / "Download PDF" buttons next to the search box.
Yes. Every meaningful action taken by an organisation admin or by the platform superuser team — approvals, rejections, profile changes, payment confirmations, deletions, and more — is recorded in an internal audit trail with who did it and when. Superusers can review this on their Audit Logs and Activity Dashboard pages. Routine data resets (see the next question) never touch this log. Separately, the exact Superuser account (not a delegated mini-superuser) can clear it outright from the Audit Logs page — a distinct, much narrower action, used sparingly if ever, that always leaves one fresh entry behind recording who cleared it, when, and how many entries were removed.
The superuser has a Reset tool for clearing accumulated activity data on a test or demo deployment — things like quiz-taking history, payment records, issued certificates, discount code usage counters, sponsorship impression counts, question flags, and the login-attempt/lockout log, either platform-wide or for a single organisation. It never deletes quizzes, questions, organisations, or user accounts, and it never touches the audit log or the history of applications and requests (organisation applications, discount code requests, certificate reissue/print requests, Consolidated Certificate of Knowledge requests) — those are kept as a record of who requested and who decided what. Separately, the exact Superuser account can clear the audit log itself from the Audit Logs page — a distinct, much narrower power from this Reset tool, used sparingly if ever, and always leaving one fresh entry behind noting who cleared it and when.
Yes. Discount code limits (how many codes you may hold, and each one's redemption cap) normally come from your organisation's plan, and whether you can create codes at all is normally a platform-wide setting — but a superuser can give your specific organisation its own custom limit, redemption cap, or on/off setting that overrides the general default. If something about your discount codes doesn't match what's described elsewhere, this is usually why — ask your platform superuser for details.
A platform superuser can enable or disable any organisation's discount codes directly — one at a time, for your whole organisation at once, or platform-wide — for example while investigating unusual redemption activity. If a code you didn't touch is now off, reach out to your platform superuser to find out why or ask them to re-enable it.
Removing a colleague doesn't delete their account — it disables it. They (or you, if it's your own account being removed) immediately lose the ability to log in, but every quiz, request, payment, and audit log entry tied to that account keeps showing the real name instead of disappearing or showing as "System". A platform superuser can re-enable the account afterwards if the removal turns out to have been a mistake.
Yes — set an optional "Opens on" and/or "Closes on" date on the quiz's Settings page (either you or the platform superuser can set these). Outside that window the quiz stays visible and linkable, but starting a new attempt is blocked, with a note showing when it opens or that it's closed. Anyone already mid-attempt is never interrupted, and certificates and leaderboard entries already earned stay valid forever.
The platform superuser can require quizzes to have a minimum number of active questions before they're allowed to go Published, and may also cap the maximum a quiz can have. If your quiz doesn't meet the minimum yet, add more questions or leave it as Draft for now — the block clears itself as soon as you're past the threshold. Ask your platform superuser if you're unsure what your quiz's limits are.
Normally only the affected admin can approve a request to remove their own account. If they genuinely can't access it to do so, use the "🆘 Can't reach them?" option on the Team page to escalate the request straight to the platform superuser, along with a reason — the superuser can then decide it directly. Approving still just disables the account (reversible by a superuser), exactly like a normal peer-approved removal.
That page has two sections: sponsorships set up specifically for your organisation, and platform-wide sponsorships the superuser has placed across every organisation's quizzes. The platform-wide ones aren't something you configured — they're shown for transparency because they genuinely do appear on your quizzes too.
Report downloads (Payments, Revenue, Discount Code Applications, and the other financial/admin reports) open as a formatted, branded page in a new tab rather than downloading a file straight away — use the "🖨️ Print / Save as PDF" button there, then choose "Save as PDF" in your browser's print dialog. CSV export is unchanged and still downloads immediately.
Yes — on the Superuser's Service Requests page, each tab (All, Pending, In Progress, Resolved, Declined) shows a live count next to its name, e.g. "Pending (5)", so the superuser team can see at a glance how much is outstanding without opening each one.
Corporate Access
Corporate Access lets any company buy a block of quiz seats for its whole team, without anyone needing an account. You tell us which quiz (or quizzes), how many seats, and your access window; we hand you one redemption code. Each employee enters that code at the quiz's paywall with just their name and phone, and you get a private, no-login report link to track completion, scores, and certificates earned.
Open "Apply for Corporate Access" from the Partnerships menu, pick the quiz(zes) you need seats for, and fill in your company and contact details across the short application. There's no self-service checkout — a real person reviews every application, verifies your payment reference, and gets back to you using the tracking reference shown after you submit.
Yes. If your team's needs change, contact us and we can add another quiz to your existing batch, or remove one that hasn't been used yet — at any time, without disturbing the rest of your setup (seats, access window, and contact details stay the same). A quiz that already has redeemed seats can't be removed, since that would affect employees who've already taken it; in that case we disable it instead, which stops new redemptions while keeping existing results and certificates intact.
No. Each employee enters your redemption code at the quiz's paywall along with just their name and phone number — no account, email, or password required. This is the same no-account approach used everywhere else on the platform for quiz-takers.
Once your batch is set up, you're given a private report link that needs no login. It shows who's redeemed a seat, who's completed the quiz, their scores, and any certificates earned — kept up to date automatically as your team takes the quiz.
